Rolco Slow Set Gold Size
We recommend using the Rolco Slow Set size when an oil based sizing application is preferred. You can roll or brush the size onto your surface. We normally use a 9 inch paint roller with a 3/8 inch roller sleeve on it to apply our size. We use the size differently than the directions listed on the can. We want the size to be very aggressively sticky, like chewing gum on hot pavement. This usually takes 1 to 2 hours after sizing the area. This aggressive tack stays open for up to 4 to 6 hours depending on working conditions. If the size tacks up too firmly, the foil will not transfer as well and you will have to size those areas again.
Rolco size is an oil based product and by law is only able to be shipped by ground delivery. That means this product can not be shipped by airplane anywhere or anytime. So if you need overnight delivery try our water-based Wunda size for your project.
