Faux Fresco-Tiepolo Ceiling Panel Workshop with Sean Crosby

In this workshop, students will learn various techniques including image transfer methods, painting figures, fabric, as well as multicolored skied and cloud formations. Each student will create their own canvas panel over a textured background which will be finished off with Crosby's incredible aging and distressing techniques to create a faux fresco mural that appears to be centuries old. This workshop's study panel is based off of an original masterpiece by Giovanni Battista Tiepolo. The panel's theme is allegorical in nature; this painting illustrates the meeting of god of the spring winds, Zephyr, and the goddess of flowers, Flora.
