Just like woodgrain the art of Marbling dates back centuries and has been valued as an art-form by countless of patrons of the arts. This class will help you learn how to layer your glazes, activate the surface for a natural pitted look, blend and segue colors for a natural look. Also we will concentrate on the movement of the veining and a variety of tools to create that critical component of Marbling. In this class you will learn four classic marbles, Sienna, Portofino, Antiqua Verde, and Crema Marfield. Take this class back to back with the woodgrain class offered the day before to round out your old masters painting skills.
